The Momentous Murfreesboro  digital project was founded by Dr. Molly Taylor-Poleskey (Harvard University), the former Digital Historian for Middle Tennessee State University in 2018.

Dr. Molly Taylor-Poleskey and her undegraduate students researched the history of the city of Murfreesboro and digitally perserved its sites of memory on an Omeka Classic site.

This research is is continued by the current Digital Historian for Middle Tennessee State University, Dr. Andrew Maginn and his students through a new Omeka S site.
